The Australian Standard AS/NZ 3760:2010 defines the requirements of routine and regular testing and tagging of all electrical equipment. Australian Standards place an obligation on all employers and employees to ensure the safety of persons using electrical equipment.

About The Test N Tag Man

The Test N Tag Man, a division of Be Safe Solutions, is the only New South Wales Central Coast based business providing computerised services in electrical compliance testing tagging and minor repairs to businesses, workplaces. This means you no longer have to use suppliers who charge travel costs, inflated rates to cover travel time or deal with large impersonal support staff when booking in.

The Test N Tag Man provides comprehensive appliance in service safety inspection testing and tagging with the most up to date PAT (Portable Appliance Tester) computerised tester with pre-set tolerances. The equipment is calibrated annually to ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines. Our company follows the principles set out in Best Practices in Testing and Tagging of Electrical Equipment to AS/NZS 3760. All our equipment is safe to use on sensitive equipment such as computers, printers and all electronic equipment in a mobile on site come to you service. Our service includes testing and tagging of RCDs (Residual Current Devices) and 3 Phase equipment, minor repairs can be carried out on site.

When the testing and tagging service is completed a computer generated Detailed Compliance Report and Asset Register will be forwarded to your office. This can be mailed, emailed or both according to your requirements. All test data is stored on our computer system so if an additional copy is required before the next testing and tagging date simply contact our office and it will be forwarded to you. A reminder service for the next testing and tagging due date is also administered by The Test N Tag Man

Be Safe Solutions follow all codes of practice, procedures & policies as set by the Australian Standards Association. We carry $20,000,000 Public and Property Liability insurance. A Certificate of Currency can be provided upon request. Field staff have a current National Police Certificate. Our test equipment is calibrated annually to ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines.

Smoke alarm residential rental property compliance is a mandatory legal requirement under Residential Tenancies Regulation 2010 Schedule & Fair Trading Residential Tenancy Agreement Sections 38 & 39.

Electrical Testing & Tagging is also  a  mandatory legal requirement under the Australian Standard AS/NZ 3760:2010 & is governed & administered by Work Cover NSW.
